Carlos considers himself a storyteller. No wonder why. From a very early age, he imbibed the love for storytelling from his parents. He grew up with the hundreds of stories his mother - a nursery teacher and tales lover - used to tell him. Not to mention his father - a history teacher that turned stories about the past into the most fascinating accounts ever.
So his decision to do an Audiovisual Communication degree came as no surprise. He then went on to specialize in Film Directing at the ESCAC (Escola de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya, Spain), where he was recognized as an outstanding student and produced his first short film - "Somos Amigos". This early project was widely selected and awarded at international events, which led to its shortlisting for the 2016 Goya Award.
Always faithful to that magic that runs in the family, he has never stopped doing what his parents did before him: telling stories. Both as films, with another two multi-awarded short features, as well as extremely micro stories for the advertising industry.
